Borderlands 2 was primarily written by Anthony Burch. The pre sequel Anthony just consulted (basically) for 2k Australia. A lot of the 1.

Absolutely. Gunslinger is super fun to play and once you stop holding your breath unconsciously, low gravity is fun

Characters and weapons: fun. Writing: different than 2 but still solid. Map and quest design: terrible; hours of slogging in each area.
