I've not worn those, but Hoka One One makes some of the most comfortable trail running shoes I've ever worn.

Ended up deciding on some Altras. Needed the high ankle. Hiked 14mi first day on them and had 0 complaints.

I've heard that Hoka's are super comfortable and like walking on clouds, but I still love my Altras that let me feel the trail

I forewent the hokas and bought Altras. Great decision. Hiked 14miles on them first day and felt great.
