I have a bunch of guitars, but here’s my pride and joy for guitar day. It’s a 1974 Gibson Les Paul Custom. I bought it used years ago and found out it has Joe Walsh’s name inside.
Thought it might be a joke. Thought it could be “Joe Walsh” a dentist from Topeka, KS or something. But no. I finally got in front of Joe at an autograph signing and he confirmed it used to be his.
I’ve heard stories of stuff like that happening to people but I never thought I’d find one myself.
Lots of well-earned wear on the back.
Of all my guitars this is the one that will never leave me. My daughter plays too, but I just may be buried with this one. #guitar #lespaul

In the end, I just happened to hear he was in town for a signing event. Brought a bunch of pictures and the backplate with me. /2
