Shirt previously was too large to cover my belly. I just tried the shirt on this morning and its actually a little loose on me now.

I had posted previously about losing weight but that was on keto. All of it came back when I stopped. I'm trying something different now and its working out pretty well combined with seeing a trainer 3-4x a week. I'm down about 30lbs since I started. Still about 100lbs off my target weight, but I'm trying to view it more of a target shirt and pant size than anything else. Trying to do this the healthy way than fad diet way.

I do the same thing but with cosplay outfits

I ran into a similar situation, brought 2 things home and felt like a sausage in them. Instead of returning them, I lost the weight. Do it!

Yeah, Im also getting my strength back too. I was only able to do like 2 pushups when I started. I can do 3x10 set now easily.

yea .... I have a shirt like that : /

Ill keep that in mind but Im currently following Nutrisystem and letting my trainer kinda dictate everything for me at the moment, but >

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

> I know I cant keep at this forever with both of those.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Thats fine. The videos are fairly short and easy to watch. Can also help give somr background on what youre trainer is doing. Good luck

Been there and failed. Wish my back was in better shape so I can actually last more than a week trying.

I’ve been using an app called Lifesum to help w/ dieting. It’s not just helpful w/ counting calories but is good w/ macros as well :)

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

tbh Ive been using Nutrisystem for the dieting part that comes with an app that tracks everything. I only went with this because>

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

> they do have a form of exit counseling to get you off the system when you meet your targets.

Ironically I bought a shirt that fits and worked hard at making not.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Dude, same. I bought 5 swimming trunks and my fat as couldn't fit in them. Dropped 70 lbs in 9 months and now I fit in em. You got this!

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

A low carb diet did wonders for me, not strictly Keto. Pair it with daily exercise and it stays off. 6-7 pounds of water weight does come1/2

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Back pretty much immediately after eating carbs again for me but I consider that my true weight.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's more or less what I'm doing but eating smaller meals more often

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

What did you decide to do instead of keto?

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This is more a learning to eat properly again thing. Im eating basically 5 small meals and a post dinner snack every day. The problem >

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

> with keto is that once you stop, everything comes back immediately. Plus its also hell on your kidneys even if you are pounding water >

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

> so this is more so solving the root of the problem of my weight rather than a quick fix.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

thanks for posting. I also did keto, did great, then gained it right back when I stopped. I had just been thinking "maybe I should go keto

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

again" but your way is better. good for you and thank you

100lbs ≈ 45 kilograms or 7.1 stone

Wow! Good job. I did the same with Keto, then not Keto and gained back wayyyy more than I lost. Keep at it and find what works for you.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I just get a different shirt 8(

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm like this, but my entire wardrobe

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah it would be the same for me if it wasnt a bunch of huge shirts and basketball pants since Ive been WFH since covid started.

Whatever it takes. Enjoy the new flesharmor for your bonemech.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Im trying to get rid of the flesh armor, but still upgrade the motors.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ok, I think I speak for everyone when I say we need to see this shirt.

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Oh.. very nice. This makes so much more sense to me now. Thank you, and good luck!

Any motivation is good motivation. Fuck the haters.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I help my wife diet by always eating half her food.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That’s the way to do it and make it work for life - exercise and diet, middle path for both. You should be very proud of yourself!

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I honestly dont think I could be doing this though if my GF wasn't doing the same as I was.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Its tough no matter, but less so when you have a partner. Shared hardship + reward is good for the relationship. Improving health and >

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

activity level is priceless.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Did this with the shell seats in my project car. I knew I'd have 1+ years until I have to sit in them so I chose tight ones. 15kg down now

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

'Diet' is what you eat. As long as calories out (exercise, manual labor) are less than calories in means you lose weight. Eat more veggies.

4 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 4

Have been. Also stopped eating a lot of empty calories that I was eating as well.

4 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

But Doritos are delicious!

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Yeah dont remind me ;_;

4 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

You cant out-work a bad diet. Takes 3500 net calories to burn 1LB of fat. Dont be discouraged if ur weight fluctuates each day. That's water

4 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Im not worried about weight as much as I was before. I'm not dropping as fast as I was, but my muscles are getting more defined >

4 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

> and my clothes are fitting looser. Thats all that matters to me.

4 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

its the little things, homie. i'm proud of you. I'm having that struggle right now too...especially cuz i'm newly diagnosed Diabeetus. :(

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

If its still early, you should be able to reverse it. If my lazy ass can do this, you can too. I'll admit part of the help was getting >

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

> on Nutrisystem. Its completely changed my eating habits. I'm eating less calories yet staying fuller.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Don't you have to pay for that? And doesn't it taste kinda gross? DM me!?

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I choose this guys shirt. If it can motivate a person to lose weight in a healthy way, I need it.

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

It only works if it's the same exact one. Pass it around OP

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It fits now, Im never getting rid of it, sorry. Though maybe when I can finally fit in the XL version Ill give this one out.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Under 200lbs for the 1st time in 20+ years. Among other things, cutting WAAAAY back on delicious delicious beer seemed to help in my case

4 years ago | Likes 68 Dislikes 0

The phytoestrogens in beer are not great when you want to get into shape.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Aaaaand good for you @op!

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Beer is many carbs. Treat each bottle of beer as a candy bar.

4 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Just switch to Vodka it's Keto

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

"Cutting back on delicious delicious beer" just demotivated me to start dieting.

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Switch to straight spirits.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I had too much of a sweat tooth myself, combined with that sedentary IT life style...

4 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 0

Red vines and hot tomales are my curse

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Plus redhots.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

why red hots when hot tamales exist?

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I like the texture.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I can’t buy candy or it’s gone the same day

4 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

I had a nasty habit of eating one of those 500CAL boxes of Mike and Ikes or Hot Tamales like it was nothing...

those damn sweat teeth!
