I think it's important that people see what "Bernie has 3 houses" means. Because some people are taking it to mean he has several Elon Musk esque Mansions In Asgard, Olympus, and Namek.

So here you go.

The house he got when he became Mayor of Burlington. It's his main residence. Bought back in 2009.

Smaller than even the other houses nearby, and not even a fence. Is this normal in Vermont?

Total "Grandpa and Grandma" house vibe, going on in here. You can see more in the guided tour https://www.yahoo.com/news/bernie-jane-sanders-house-guided-110000199.html

Nice place. Looks like it's the expensive one of the bunch.

Contractor/Realtor side of Imgur. Does this count as a mansion, or at least, a McMansion?

I feel like a person who's been working in government for over 40 years and has been known to be mostly frugal shouldn't have been able to save up the money to get a place like this.

Lastly the DC rowhouse.

1 Bedroom 2 bath. His work home. Three blocks from the Capitol and a half block from Stanton Park.
A necessity for anyone who might possibly want to work in the government.

How do you feel about him having multiple houses. Reasonable? unreasonable? Does it make you not want to vote for him?

Just ONE of Donald Trump's homes, for reference.

Bernies not going to win, so just get over it

Not Trumps house but we get the point. (According to google it is Jeffrey Epstein's house).

Well, you were right after all. Turns out it's Trump's Mar a Lago estate. Google reverse image search blew it for me.

You make over 200k as a senator right? After a few years you could probably buy a house...

The american dream, right there.

Exactly this man is 70+ years old, he worked his whole life during the times when houses were cheap. It'd be shocking if he didn't have any

Not a Bernie fan, but I don’t care how big his homes are. That’s just a distraction Republicans are using to divide Dems.

The fact that we admire his basic properties at all and think they're large and nice, only suits to show how lacking we are in general lol

But also, the point of this isn't to show that his homes are large, but how small they are in comparison
