Hey OP, this just happened to me and it was super easy to replace myself. Check online to see if you can find a compatible mirror
I might use the insurance money to replace it myself. We will see.

I did this to someone that parked within six inches of my door. But used my foot.
That's acceptable lok

My mom hit someone's car and promptly drove off. Smh I tried to get her to go back but she wouldn't. She was too scared. I guess (1)
At the time she stopped paying the car insurance. :\ it sucks and I feel bad for the person. (2/2)
That's the problem. If you don't have insurance, don't drive bc you end up hurting someone innocent.
Upierczi
inb4 OP has no insurance
Def have insurance bc of jackasses like this. Hell ya for USAA
You should come to Greece, it's full of jerks like that
SquintlyBiggums
Do not file a claim for that. Super easy to fix. Ive broken off a few mirrors. Hardest part is painting the thing.
Already filed. It's not a regular mirror. It's an electric mirror with built in blinker. It's all torn to shit.
CatsAndUkes
Fun story, drove a rusty 25 year old Monte Carlo from college into adulthood, parked in the same spot every single day with no problem.
I save money, buy myself a used but newer Subaru Forester, parked in my usual spot every day. 2 weeks later...side swiped by a hit and run.
ClutchJunkie
Even if they had hit the Monte Carlo, it wouldn't have done anything. Those things are the Nokia phones of cars.
Lol it certainly couldn't have made it look worse than it already did
