Sung to the tune of "Anybody seen my Gal" Five foot nine, hair like twine. Born and raised in Palestine. Has anybody seen my lord? ' Aint he keen? 'Aint he cool? Walking across the swimming pool? Anybody seen J.C.?

Jesus identified as Judean or Israelite, Palestinian was not a thing at the time.

Yeah, "Palestinian" in modern usage generally means "Palestinian Arab", first used in that context at the turn of the 20th Century.

Jesus was almost certainly executed on Roman orders despite what the Bible claims (assuming he existed at all).

I think the most likely scenario is that the Romans executed him because he was making waves and annoying the local aristocracy/theocracy/rich people who were helping keep the region stable.
The Pharisees kept their power and the Romans didn't have to waste time and money sending ANOTHER set of legions in to quell civil unrest, win-win for everyone. Except the guy getting strung up on the cross, I guess...
