I know you can brine lighter fleshed pork but does it work on boston butt or beef bristket?

we only brine lighter meats, and haven't really tried any beef because they actually absorb marinade. Pork, Chicken and Turkey are the best

We used an oven probe that turns the oven off right when the temp hits 145 degrees. If you want I can PM the recipe! It's time consuming tho
