The Finest Music

It is easy to be carried away in the hysteria of the whole business. The music business has turned into a giant propaganda industry, perhaps it always was. I am going to sift through all of that molten garbage and tell you of some of the finest.

Neil young

This guy may be one of the finest musicians of the past hundred years. You may have heard of Neil Young for the first time (if you live under a rock) after he pulled his music from Spotify after one of their podcasters, the sub-human Joe Rogan was spreading misinformation on their platform. What you may not have realised is that his songs were amounting listens in the hundreds of millions! And they weren't the usual artificial views and listens that companies give their artists, they were actual people listening to the music of the great man! Anyway, Spotify is currently in a nose dive which I find very funny. But I digress, lately I have found myself completely enamored with the man and his music. Songs such as : Like a Hurricane, Rockin' in the free world, Hey Hey, My My. These songs have already transcended decades, nearly half a century to be more relevant to the current day than almost every song I heard played on radio 1 yesterday. Check out his live performances, they are so god-damn special and some of his songs, I have only heard through live performances because, 'how could it be better than what I am hearing right now'. The man is a legend and his music will live longer than me or you.

MF DOOM

Rap music is modern day poetry. That is not an opinion; I am stating a fact. People who argue against that fact, just don't understand poetry... In fact, probably could name you less poets than they can rappers. They also Romanticise poetry a lot through their lack of understanding of the genre. They think of poetry as some soppy love story. They don't know shit about the epic works of Keats, writing about Gods fighting each other. They don't know how Shakespeare wrote hundreds of Sonnets about his dick! They don't know how Charlotte Mew struggled to keep her fucking sanity...

And they don't know about how MF Doom used his talent with the pen to try and help young people.

This man was a legend and his legacy is one that will last a lot longer than anything I ever write.

David Bowie

It think it is a sign of the times that almost all of the finest are dead. Our society is very sick and does not produce anything fine anymore. None, were finer than Bowie. The music is to die for. Right up to his death! His posthumously released album 'Blackstar' is just so god-damn Bowie. The man was dying. Terminally dying and he knew it. Did he blow his final years on blow and hookers? Maybe, who knows, but after his death he gave us one of the most important albums of the modern era. After Bowie's final breath had left his body, and all were expecting silence, a deep scream rose from the depths, shot into the air, it illuminated all that was black. That was the album Blackstar and all that have heard it, I think, have been changed a little. Perhaps a little angrier. Perhaps a little more idealistic. If Bowie can have this powerful a voice, even after his death, then what the fuck am I afraid to speak for?
It is 'a pity she was a whore', love is a fucking travesty these days. And it is ugly. The self love and hedonistic, base, sociopathic version of what we people have come to call love is disgusting. 'Send me a picture of your tits, love' And I am angry about it. Snap chat and filters have made us all so vein and we are being vein about things that aren't even true of ourselves. Facebook has made us liars, lying constantly about what is going on in our lives and in our heads. We create our propaganda. It would be poetic if it were so harrowing. We are told what to listen to by cold, unfeeling algorithms and we learn nothing.

Love is dead, God is a lie. The truth comes from inside, but hell are we empty.
