The insurance doesn’t actually pay anything, they just refuse to allow you to be charged more.

In Slovakia I pay about 15 Eur for 3 months worth of diabetes and cholesterol meds. My father pays less than 1 Eur for 2 vial of insulin set

No, your insurance didn't pay that. They paid maybe $1-2k. The $9.5k is the unrealistic listing price that no one pays. It's a scam.

Insurance saved you doesnt mean that insurance paid anything. I could be simply because you are paying their negotiated price.

Yup, some months its more as I get certain meds with 3 month supply but this is an average/ low month for me.
