Front Overview of Sanctuary
The entire town is walled off using junk walls. I didn't discover concrete shack foundations until later on, so junk walls had to do.
Rear Overview of Sanctuary
The backdoor, path that leads to Vault 111. Sometimes we get attacked from the rear, so I set up some search lights and turrets to cover our asses.
The Gates
This is after I discovered those concrete shack foundations, I placed the gate on a floor mat and was able to get it to clip into the concrete walls by holding down the select button on the floor mat and dragging the gate along with it. You can see that the gates are heavily fortified by heavy machine gun and missile turrets.
Welcome
The entrance to town. The house on the right is the guard house, nothing special about the inside, just a couple beds and couches.
The Public Forum
This is the town square, it houses all of the stores and restaurant/bar and is a social gathering place for my settlers after a hard days work. Maybe I went a little overboard with the stairs, but Minutemen and U.S.A. represent!
Entrance to the Forum
The bar/restaurant is on the left, and you can see the stores spread throughout.
The General Store
Level 4 General Store, that's the Vault Tec rep who signed you up for Vault 111 at the start of the game. He can't believe I look so good after 200 years.
Weapons and Armor Shops
Weapons and Armor shops with Smiling Larry manning the Gun store and The Scribe holding down the armor shop.
Clothing Store and Clinic
I haven't been able to track down the Level 4 Clothing specialist yet, but there you see Doc Anderson at her Clinic.
The BAR
Ron Staple's Bar, complete with a pool table! It was a huge pain in the butt to track down all of the pool balls and the rack, and even more of a pain placing everything perfectly. Now if only they would play a game once in a while. Everyone comes here to eat and drink after a hard days work.
Main Street
A view down Main Street.
The Farm
Here's Sanctuary's farm. It's enough to feed 54, with 9 farmers working. I planted Mutifruit, Tatos, Gourds, Melons, Razorgrass, and Corn... so basically everything. Notice the heavy machine turret to keep everyone motivated and working hard.
Another view of the Farm
You can see the forum on the left, and my current base of operations in the rear. The windmill powers the settlement beacon and siren for the watch towers.
My Base
This is where I run everything out of. I consolidated all of the work stations into one place to make everything easier and so I don't have to run around to craft and cook. There's a bell and a bench, I ring the bell, sit down and wait an hour, then everyone just shows up and I can order them around or shoot them in the back of the head if they try to walk away.
Base's Living Room
Nothing too fancy, a couple couches and my bobble head stand.
My Bedroom
Again, not too fancy, I left the hole in the wall so I can just sleep through the wall to get those extra experience points before I craft/cook or set out on a quest. I keep all of my fully modded Legendary weapons in the safe, Misc items in the steamer trunk, and junk I want to keep in the foot locker. There's also two cabinets for grenades and other clothing.
Mama Murphy's Room
I gave Mama Murphy my old room, but ever since I gave her that Jet she just sits in her chair staring off into space. What a junkie.
Mr. and Mrs. Long's Room
Everyone's favorite complainers are also housed in my old house. They can't even stand each other so they sleep in separate beds. Sometimes I even catch Jun sleeping in the guard house by the entrance.
Living Room of Old House
Initially I had TV's set up in every house, but it made my game glitch and messed up the happiness in the settlement. Not like there was anything to watch anyway. Please Stay Tuned.
Bedroom 1
Whoever lives in here has got it made. They've got two different sized drawers, a radio, desk, and a foot locker. Too bad these poor settlers have nothing to put in their containers.
Bedroom 2
This tenant likes cats, dogs, and America... must be an Imgurian.
Living Room 2
This one has a kitchen table where four can sit and eat. Nobody ever seems to eat though. There used to be a TV on the tan table, but again with the glitches.
Bedroom 3
I like my settlers to study hard for their finals, so I try to keep desks in rooms when I can fit them. Something tells me this person just studies the wall all night though.
Bedroom 4
I'm running out of witty things to say, here's another damn bedroom.
Bedroom 5
I should really fix that wall, but I'm really quite sick of building Sanctuary.
Bedroom 6
Meow. At least I fixed these walls...
Bedroom 7
This guy just studies the American flag at night, filthy casual can't even close his drawers.
Livingroom 3
Another living room in a random house. Again, there used to be a TV.
Main Street at Night
A look down Main Street at night, all of the houses are fully powered and lighted. I have power lines running down the entire street in a perfect line with an equal amount of spacing between each utility pole because I have OCD.
Town Proper at Night
A view of the forum and first couple of houses from a rear angle. I wish these people would conserve electricity and learn how to turn their lights off. Where do we even get fuel for these generators?
Front Overview at Night
A view of Sanctuary at night, from the front. Spotlights at the gates so we can see any attackers.
Rear Overview at Night
A view from the rear at night. Again, spotlights to spot any lurkers, and I'm not talking about you people who don't upvote or comment.
LaserSteve2
I just started playing this game, all I do is run around killing Gohls and such.
kickbabies
That's the fun part! Collecting junk and building this stuff took me over 200+ hours of game play. I did this little by little.
ZombieEinstein
My fucking NPCs keep leaving my shops un-manned. That and the game thinks I have 15 people in Sanctuary, and I can only find like, 5.
kickbabies
Also, build the bell and bench and wait. All your settlers will come to the bell.
kickbabies
It's probably that TV and Jukebox glitch I was talking about above. I got rid of all of them and it seemed to fix the bug.
ZombieEinstein
Lazy-ass NPCs. Build you a nice TV and Jukebox and they start avoiding responsibilities.
