Reason given: I’m leaving Paramount because of Paramount/CBS/sky dances capitulation to the fascist Trump regime, canceling the late show with Stephen Colbert, Barry Weiss’s censorship of the 60 Minutes segment, exposing ice’s cruel rendition of over 200 innocent US citizens to CECOT. I will not be returning to Paramount until every last fascist is in the grave.

Stupid for having it in the first place

Yeah. The wife just brought up doing that the other night, but we're in the middle of Elsbeth! I guess some sacrifices must be made if we're going to have a chance at punishing the Trump-suckers.

A good friend of mine (not me) recommends against downloading a VPN and googling “Yarrlist”. Otherwise you may find yourself with access to links that would give you any paid platforms “subscription locked” content. There definitely aren’t subtitles and 10 different servers for each show or movie so that 1 is always guaranteed to work. Yarr me mat- ahem. Sorry, was clearing my throat.

What do you expect when it got bought out by a Friend of Trumps?
The moment that deal was signed, everything under their control was doomed to go to shit.

8 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I don't know why you would have paid for that bullshit to begin with.

I had it because it’s the easiest way to get paw patrol for my kids, but then I just went to my library and rented like 10 discs and ripped them to my plex server and canceled it. 4 year olds will just watch it multiple times and still love it

Yes fuck Paramount+!

I need to hurry up and watch all the Strange New Worlds episodes before they decide Star Trek is too woke and delete them.

8 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

For real, I was thinking about this: I actually don’t know how much anti-woke bullshit has already seeped its way into the writing of the new stuff.

The final season (which is going to only be like 6 episodes) was agreed to before the merger completed. So hopefully all the writing and everything is done. I'd be more worried about Star Fleet Academy.

Worth mentioning, you can get Colbert for free, any week night, on broadcast TV, I know, I know, how silly and antiquated. Free TV shows that exist any time you turn on the TV, it's so weird.

I had Paramount for Star Trek. I canceled Paramount because it’s now a state owned propaganda machine-the cancellation of the late show being one example

8 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I will probably make a new account for a free trial subscription to watch the latest season of lower decks

I recommend IPTV.

YO HO MOTHERFUCKIN' HO, BITCHES!!!

8 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The real question is why you would have one anyway. It has so little worth watching.

8 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I will miss Star Trek

8 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I really only watched Colbert and Sunday morning, quit Sunday morning after the govt bribe even though I’ve been watching for like 40 years and have a friend on the show, I’ll keep watching Colbert until his last show because that man is amazing. I only use an antenna anyways so they get nothing from me

8 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah I'm going all in on torrenting. Fuck em all. I'll pay for indie and that's it.

8 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

This generation's "drop out" is a heck of a lot of piracy.

8 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I do it another way, I subscribe, I watch all that I want to watch and then I unsubscribe as soon as the last episode of whatever show I was bingeing shows the end credits.

You are smart and not hysterical. OP's issues are with certain CBS content which is a minor (micro) part of P+.
And Colbert isn't really cancelled as he's still on air until May.
Cancelling recently created subscription hurt streamers nowadays more, as Wall Street considers churn a more important metric, because it tells more about long term potential of the service.

The creaking fossil that is Rupert Murdoch is going to turn on Trump, sometime soon, and also 6 months ago, but definately soon /s

8 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

How about just cancelling it because I don't want to pay $17 a month for that?

8 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Well, in no way would I suggest this to anyone, but I have heard there are online streaming services that can provide you with whatever content you might want. Apparently you may need a VPN like, say ExpressVPN or similar, to access any number of these services. If my information is right they have names like "BlackBeard's Cove" or similar. I understand that these services are much cheaper than other streaming services, but I really don't know. Good luck.

Surely you're not referring to The Pirate's Bay?

8 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I can neither confirm or deny that assertion, my buccaneering friend...

8 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Arrr you serious? I had no idea!

8 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

No need for a vpn or money with sites like hydrahd dot ru, etc.
Use the librewolf browser which comes locked down for additional security.

8 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

A .ru site... not a chance... would not trust any .ru site to be anything other than crooked.

8 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It'll be on another tld in a month, they skip from one to another and usually notify users, bflix dot sh is another frontend that uses the same streaming servers and if you think it's somehow better, idk what to tell you.

8 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

how will you watch Star Trek

8 months ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 4

The only way you should. With dignity. And a funny hat

8 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Via the superior TNG blu-rays.

8 months ago | Likes 33 Dislikes 0

Less than one month before the new series.

8 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I’ll probably still be able to watch it because I’m already paid through till May… Just nothing after that.

8 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That's a problem that I'm too https://1337x.to/ to understand

8 months ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Believe me, I’m very sad about that.

8 months ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 1

They might be sold at used book stores like 2nd and charles. I purchased all of 2nd Gen their. A lot of blu rays and dvd's get sold to them because they are on streaming services, I prefer to have physical copies.

Tos, tng, ds9, vote, ent, all of them are on Blu-ray and dvd in higher quality than streaming.
