cats

The behind-the-back move was cool. He knew right where that cat was.

I have two cats, Bandit and Oscar and when I eat ice cream they sit on either side of me on the couch and pull my spoon away from my mouth and towards them, it drives my bf nuts but they are my cats, my babies and it's what we do.

Who’s the hot chick whose pic is on the photo cube?

Behind every hot chick there’s a cat dad

Does she talk to one of the cats and say "Kuro, where are you going, come here?"

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Man I want a flock of cats so bad.

So many kittaaaaayss!

right at the end, one cat put feet on the edge of the table, otherwise an uncannily well-behaved minute

Can I introduce you to Matataku, an artist who likes to draw mainly cats and muscular old guys ?

Is that a childless cat woman I’ve been hearing so much about? If so, that’s awesome!

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

These childless cat ladies look pretty badass...

Set some boundaries, it's your job to teach your cats not to do this. Also I have a cat that has a tendency to sneeze at inconvenient intervals, I do not let her anywhere near food for that reason.

2 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 2

This is the one comment that I agree with. Everyone else was finding this cute, which sure if you want that, but my immediate reaction was "absolutely fucking not." I have a new cat that I'm teaching boundaries right now and it's a slow process.

I've always found it pretty easy with sound aversion. A quick 'TSS' at the moment they're doing something wrong can help esp as it sounds similar to a hiss, but of course some cats are more strongwilled than others. I can leave my cat alone with my food and she won't try to go near it. I think some people think you're just being "mean" setting boundaries but it's normal and healthy, I'd always recommend it.

Kung Fu Master I could respect for his style

MMM cat feces. This may look cute, but those are spoiled cats with no boundaries who are contaminating your food and food surface areas. This is almost equivalent to Karni Mata Temple, though not as completely unsanitary.

Given by the architecture and from what I’ve seen in movies, this is Japanese, right? For any Japanese imgurians, could you share a little insight? When eating, do you usually prepare food in this way? With each little dish holding something different, then you just pick at the food as you eat? I live in the UK and we just put everything onto one plate. Having a little dish for different foods almost seems like a little ritual or ceremony, which I find to be so amazing. Thank you in advance!

Japanese here, yes this is quite normal. but for some large families, you have large plates for each food, and you/ your mom help yourself a serving to your own plate which holds multiple food.

Off-camera woman says, "Doko ni iru, no? Kochi da yo." Japanese for "Where are you? It's over here."

Love Peter Ustinov. We're No Angels with Humphry Bogart he steals the show. Also when he'd play Poirot.

I always upvote Logan's Run.

I've seen Logan's Run exactly once, close to 15 years ago, and yet I instantly recognized the gif because the ending of that movie was bizarre.

the book was even odder

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

If you want an odd movie with an even odder book, Night Breed is a FUCKING RIDE. The concept art alone is worth a deep dive

I've done archival work, and gotten my hands on a lot documents from the film adaptations, lot of fun insight on the film-making process

Have I got the perfect friend for you! She's tended 2 generations of raccoons, has a cat, lizards, and a poisonous garden. It's so awesome playing DnD when she's out there with the "beans", which is what we call the raccoons.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

If your friend could help me figure out how to acquire some raccoons that would be amazing. I see so many people HAVE them nowadays and I have no idea where to start, since they're 'technically illegal' in most states.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

She doesn't touch them. Though sometimes they do try to touch her. I live in Oklahoma and it's crazy easy to get a would animal license. In my friend's case, she created a garden sanctuary and there were no other animals in it to drive off the raccoons. When she saw it, she started leaving out peanuts and it just kind if stayed hanging around.

Oh yes, I already engage in feeding the local wildlife when I get the chance. When I finally move out of the city and back to the country I plan to make gardens specifically for attracting bees and raccoons and other nice critters. Would still love to have my own pet though.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I get the occasional wild rabbit. Well, I did before my pits chased one off. They don't come back anymore. I do let the Virginia Creeper go, only pulling it when it starts strangling other plants. As well as any other wild flowers. It's summer in Oklahoma, so not meant flowers in this heat.

Multi class into druid in your old age.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I'm pretty sure I'm a ranger? Like I'm not exactly a Disney princess yet but I am pretty good with pets and like camping.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

You don't have to stop at one multi class. Plus, I feel druid and ranger synergize well. Learn to speak to your pets AND the trees around your campgrounds.

The food is shitty.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 6

How would you know?

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Looks like a nutritious spread, at least

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I see a bowl of rice, a fish, some tomatoes & cucumbers, a bowl of soup and some pickled veggies. Seems like pretty standard food brand food to me. What exactly is shitty there?

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Probably because it looks kinda bland. Fresh veggies in particular look underripe. That fish is also probably seasoned only with salt.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Japanese food in general can be bland as their idealogy is on natural flavors of the ingredients. Also the dudes a monk at a temple, you expecting gordan Ramsey? Also weird to like be angry at someone's dinner...

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Look, I live in Japan and eat Japanese food. Except for the miso soup, everything there looks pretty bland even by Japanese standards.
