I did a thing; would appreciate some feedback! Broadcasting from the bunker.

A year ago, it was a ramshackle (and ugly) mess using wordpress and what little expertise I had to scrape it together. No more!

After bringing some friends into the business, they worked their magic to on the core content and re-coded it from the ground up. We're still in the smoothing-out and bug-fixing stage, but the foundation of the site and organization is now here.

I also have no intention of ever running ads on the site (because, ew.) So the main way to support is through the store affiliate links, redbubble store, patreon, ko-fi, etc.

So, Imgur, I'd LOVE to hear your feedback if you have a moment.

Things such as:
What works?
What doesn't work? What fonts are aggravating?
Is the menu a pain to scroll through?
What sections/advise would you like to see?
Is the overall "tone" of the website a nice medium between casual preparedness and a bit of urgency?
And anything else that comes to mind!

We're in the tuning stage and bug-fixing for the project, so all recommendations are useful.

Hello everyone! I hope you all are doing well. After working with some friends I've got some great news...

I officially started a business! Like, registered, paperwork, and everything. It's a bit of a mind-screw to be honest. I'm just a guy who started off compiling news on COVID to keep people in the loop and do my best to recommend stuff.

Now for the future, this site/organization has the goal of promoting a community, and helping others. That's all I've wanted to champion, and this organization provides the means to do that.

There are some rather big future plans with my friends (in the very far future) that involve a LOT more start-up funds, assembly lines, a warehouse, custom emergency kits, additional consultations, etc, but that's waaaay down the road.

Eventually, there will be a semi-regular newsletter with an email list, and many other features (listed under the "General News" tab. But for now, it's the core site.

What I would like to do down the road is make a brief Imgur post when a new blog/email goes out; basically copy/pasting the message (I'm no longer using Imgur as the primary platform since, well, I now have my own!)

For regular communication, I'm also (essentially) now the top mod on r/preppers, and active daily if you want to shoot me a message a-la-reddit.

So, as I sit here after getting my gallbladder forcefully evicted (yeah...ow), I'll gladly respond to as many comments as I can. I don't have much else to do and wouldn't mind the distraction!
