A good kitty

Let me introduce this utter dingdong of a cat. Turning 8 this July, chill af, cute as a damn button. Adopted her 6 years ago as a malnourished, half-shaved mum who had just given birth to a wee litter; has brought endless joy and sweetness into my life.

Her first day home in her new life. She was so small it broke my heart -- two years old, a [wife and] mother, but only weighed about 1.75 pounds. Literally skin and bones.

This tiny gal carried her three surviving babies out of a garbage dump (where she had been abandoned by her previous family), across a huge field, and into the garage of a McMansion in a subdivision.

Luckily the house in which she found shelter was occupied by a great family with young children who wanted kittens, so her babies got a good home.

This photo is her one-year anniversary with me. Big on attention, I tell ya hwhat -- she knows it's her special day, and she demands tribute!

"You guys doin' a little renovatin' there? I can track drywall dust onto your bedsheets for no extra charge!"

"'Tis the season, bitches."
