The generalized term is 'Nature abhors a gradient', since it applies to any type of energetic differential, not just pressure. The vacuum of space is only a vacuum with respect to a plenum; if there is no gas nearby, there is no gradient to degrade.
This would mostly work if the glasses have the same shape / area, as this only equalizes the fluid height. Also, I think there's enough viscosity in the fluid such that the first glass will have a slightly higher fluid level than the originally empty glass.
