It's because they think he will save them...

A trans friend of mine gave me a real take on the political climate of the USA right now. Wanted to share it here...

They said, "They do what they do because they think they will survive the world they are destroying. They believe Trump and the other wealthy people they are kowtowing to will protect them once it all comes crumbling down..."

(continued) ... "And once it's all burned to nothing they will rebuild the world around them the way they like it. That's the penultimate goal in their minds, insulation from reality and a self-made gilded cage to keep them safe and all the 'others' out. That's what it has always been about."

This made me really think about what's going on and I am seeing more and more their point on this. It might be why the Dems aren't trying to block anything. It explains a lot of the behavior of the private wealth surrounding the Exec branch right now too. Get in the lifeboat before we intentionally run the entire boat into an iceberg and sink it kind of thing.

Thoughts? I would be interested to hear what others think constructively?
