From what I've seen the pigeon nest is false. They nest under roof A.C. units and build nests out of their shit and corpses of other pigeons.

I read that pigeons arent wild animals, they’re feral domestic birds, & the reason they’re shit at making nests is because we used to do it

#3 Over the time a pile of shit builds up and doubles as nest. I've seen it. On my balkony. On top of it the chicks are disturbingly ugly.

What part of "Life Finds A Way" do people not fucking understand?

6 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

They tore it down four times and kept adding more anti-bird spikes each time and it kept rebuilding. Eventually they gave up.

That's a very rare 'good' pigeon nests! Pigeons in the wild ( before we domesticated them and brought them everywhere ) would nest in >

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

rocky cliffs that had little holes so they don't really have a nest building instinct. I used to keep pigeons and one of their nests was >

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

a single grass blade.. located like two pigeon bodylengths away from where the eggs were actually put lol

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

How did you know the blade of grass related to nesting?

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

because they'd fastidiously put that back if it got moved / when i cleaned the cage / ect. for pigeon reasons that grass had to be *there*
