We hatched a couple of mantis egg cases for the garden this spring. Found this guy living on my hot pepper plant. Decided to keep him alive for the winter, he's loving the mealworms.

1yr maybe a little more. Since they hatched in June I figured keep him alive to be king of the garden next year.

Please update us - I too hatch baby mantis in the spring. I would be interested to know if they could live through the winter indoors! :)

Always possible but I'll try to keep him going til spring. Seems healthy as hell and has an appetite.
