alternating manifold design to prevent the high-output caterium product from generating enough that it was causing some machines to back up waiting their turn to insert to the belts. Now that no longer happens.

not looking for updoots, just sharing this to reddit, but made it public so it could be found otherwise as well.

It also very conveniently splices sideways and THEN merges to get into the awesomesink with no issues with backing-up of the line, just prior to inserting into the storage container if it's already full

if you add a few more constructors, you can avoid the stacking of unused raw material. so far im adding around 10-15% more users than the ammount of material would allow. especially long production cycles, anything above 45sec, will be filled fast. so adding 2-3 more will keep them running. ofc it will not be a 100% efficiency device, but enough to catch anything that would stack the conveyor

at the moment I am utilizing the full capacity of the node to the best of my ability to process what I am capable of mining and sending down the belts I can currently make. I am also making more caterium wire than I am using (there is still regular overflow to the sink, in spite of belting and trucking wire to two different factories at the present. Once I unlock T3 Miners then I can revisit the structure here, but it's well load-balanced at present.

in other words, I'm not backing up on raw material . I WAS backing up on ability to output FINISHED material in a single channel manifold, which caused some machines to periodically stop making more wire because they had nowhere to send it until the belt allowed them to. splitting the single output manifold into a dual-output manifold cleared that up nicely.
