Explanation: Pteraxii are winged Skitarii that are capable of flight and serve as ideal support units for their brethren in battle. They are the cousins of Sicarian Skitarii.
Fun Fact: The Pteraxii come in two variants:
Sterylizors: Honed for aggression and armed with talons and Phosphor Torches. Outside of combat they are used to scour cavernous Forge World for lost technologies and cyblight infestations.
Skystalkers: Seek out the best vantage points from which to pick off targets with their Flechette Carbines. They are equipped with a bonded respirator.

By the Throne getting the Chordclaw achievement was such a pain in the ballbearings...
For y'all that need it, do it in Mortis Trials with the archetype build that allows you to refill your ult on a kill. Makes the claw basically have like 5-7 charges instead of the basic 3 iirc and use the horizontal swipe one for max screen clearance on enemies.

I did it during an event with increased specials, only took me 2 days I think. The current event isn't great for it, but if you do maelstrom or specialist strike force modified missions you should be able to knock it out pretty quick. If you want it to go even quicker spec Redline Chord Claw so you get 5 ability charges instead of the standard 3.

I forgot to mention Redline, yes. Maxing out base charges from the start is super useful!

There's a build you should try, probably the strongest redline chord claw build at the moment. https://darktide.gameslantern.com/builds/a212115b-2592-4d29-917b-1e9354aeaef9/the-alpha-primus-v5 it's an absolute blast to play and it's a reasonably strong meta build as well. I've used it in 20+ Havoc, the only switch I made was the ranged weapon (I like the electric blasty one, the name of which I'm blanking on at the moment).
