I realised in all this I never mentioned his name: this gorgeous boy is called Rupert, he's 9 this year and I fear I probably only have maybe a few more years with him, he's been with me since he was 7 weeks and has been pretty much my therapy dog with my anxiety, depression and get diagnosed/medicated for both. He was there every time I broke down as a furry shoulder to cry on. He only puts up with my hugs if I'm crying. He's a one of a kind mix breed and honestly as dumb as a rock otherwise.
