I wanted her to mature, so we took some time, then I realized I didn't want her to be anything more than she was. Those little perfect imperfections, those little idiosyncrasies that drove me crazy... they drove me the perfect kind of crazy. God, I miss them. The irony is my desire for her to mature led to her outgrowing me. But I'm not going to let this be a sad breakup, I'm going to keep my head straight and power through this.
