4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My cat has taken to meeting me at the door and insisting that I carry him up the stairs.

4 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Not surprised it’s an orange boi doing this. So stinking cute!

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ah. He gets cute cat vid with his cam. I get an alert and my cat is licking her bits…

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Cat: "The can opener is back home. Time to greet them."

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Is this a bussy?

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

yes that is debussy

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Cute. Still don't understand people choosing to be recorded in their own home while giving open access to the device manufacturer.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My cat comes running to the door when either myself or my gf get home and will follow us around until he gets picked up for cuddles

4 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

And...cut! - Camera 2 is rolling, now you lift the stuffed cat!

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

hey remember the saga of lift cat

4 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

My cat always comes to say hello, when I come home. Cats do that very often

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I love this

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

"You brought dinner, right?"

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I love watching grown men be kind and loving to cats! It warms my heart.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

"Results may vary"

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I love him

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

How long were you gone ?

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I know its simple but to get a super efficient cat let them sleep on you when you bring them home it helps them bond

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Cats can take a surprisingly large amount of bed.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Efficient? Yea my cat uses way to much energy .

4 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Auto correct I ment affectionate idk how I got efficient

4 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I figgerd that, I couldn't help myself.

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I get the feeling the cat I get would not do this.

4 years ago | Likes 329 Dislikes 3

Because...

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Maybe not exactly this, but they all have their own little ways they love you back :)

4 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

Mine runs to me, purrs when I pick him up then demands belly rubs. Different routine for each cat but some do have traits like this.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Once my old boy got used to being picked up (my choice, duration his choice), he got used to being held on his back like a baby quick

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If you get them young it's mostly on you to build the relationship. Cats aren't like dogs. They don't love you by default. Have to invest.

4 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 1

My experience is mixed, recent years it's adopting mid ages cats and after about 6 months I've managed strong bonds with them.

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Guessing you're empathic and took the time to build those relationships. Kudos. Your cats are lucky to have you.

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I find cats really easy, I do have a lot of patience and tolerance for them too, I struggle a lot more with dogs than kittens or cats.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My cat does most of this. She even jumps up onto the chair when I'm working and she wants this.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Most tabby cats have this kind of personality, especially the males, if you want a friendly/affectionate cat I recommend them

4 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

That said, cats have long memories and don't like those who don't treat them well. Let them have their space when they want it

4 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

A cat that you get may not, but a cat that gets you certainly would. The cat chooses the human, harri.

If you get one that's young, you can train them. Even old cats can do stuff like this with time and patience. I've trained several to walk

4 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Just to add to this, I've always adopted older cats (8+) and every one of them has run to greet me when I come home.

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

On leashes, my son gets them to be cuddle kitties under the blankets, and they get affectionate and do stuff for treats or pets. Older

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Cats at shelters are super affectionate once they get used to you and the home. It's amazing how many love belly rubs.

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

That's it I'm getting a cat.

4 years ago | Likes 829 Dislikes 4

My girlfriend got a cat 1.5 years ago. It has cost me around 4500€ so far. Keep in mind if it goes wrong it can be expensive.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 8

Do it! Happy to answer cat questions if you do!

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I’m a 57 year old man and I just got my first cat last year. It’s unbelievable how much I love my little girl.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I have two. One is a demon, the other is the sweetest boi in the universe, with a default setting of stupid cute

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Only do it if you can properly take care of it.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Do it!!!

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Highly recommend a male (desexed) ragdoll.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

On one hand yes. On the other it probably won't be like this for many years.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Our shelter cat started aloof. When she realized that she was home and safe forever, this is exactly what I started coming home to every day

4 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

I got one in January and another in June. I’d recommend getting two because they need a friend to play with.

4 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Ok. First thing to know is you can't get a cat. The cat has to get you. Go to a rescue center. Have them let out all the cats. The one that

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Jumps into your lap has chosen you.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'll take twelve.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If you think all cats are like this one, you're in for a surprise.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

My girlfriend got a cat 1.5 years ago. It has cost me around 4500€ so far. Keep in mind if it goes wrong it can be expensive.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 7

you will never look back... so rewarding.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I would like to have a cat, but since I’m both allergic and out of town a lot with work, it wouldn’t work

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Be financially prepared, that cat will get a boat.

4 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 0

My cat and I live on a boat. She has since taken over the job of captain. It’s her boat now and I’m just pilot, mechanic and cookie.

4 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Don't

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 6

Don't be fooled

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 7

A. They aren't all like that. B. Do it anyway.

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Oh I know!! They can be the evil incarnated ... I still aim to have one!

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's about damn time.

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

HELL YEAH!

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I think you think you want that cat. You can't have it.

4 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Don't be a party pooper yo...

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Cats are assholes. Get two. In all seriousness, get two. That way they'll be assholes (re: playful goblins) to each other instead of waking

4 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

you up at 3 AM wondering why you aren't chasing them around the house.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

*wakes up at 3am to turn over* my cat: OH ITS TIME TO START THE DAY LETS GET PLAYIN AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Cats are the best!

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

lol not all cats act the same

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

They are not all like this.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

This is NOT an average representation of cat ownership. Your cat will most likely never perform just as the cat here.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Results may vary. Took 6 years for my little guy to sit on my lap. Worth it, but be prepared.

4 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Most cats will just ignore you when you get home tho XD

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm used to that already LOL

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My ex's dog got to the door as soon as he heard my car. I got a nice welcome every day.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

do it!

4 years ago | Likes 48 Dislikes 1

Is that owlkitty?

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I have a cat. It is like 1/245th as good as my dogs.

4 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 19

I respect that's your preference. A lot of dogs make me sneeze (yes even the 'hypoallergenic' ones) but my cat is always so happy to see me.

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Dogs are not cats. Cats are not dogs. I love each of them for their differences. Let’s move on.

4 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Never understood the false dichotomy of cats vs. dogs... But I will say if you treat a cat like it's a dog, you'll probably be disappointed.

4 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

I have 2 cats and a dog. 1 cat is bonded to me and follows me everywhere, the other does the same with my partner.

4 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Do you have 245 dogs?

4 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I’ve only had about 20 cats but I’d trade 245 of them for each of my dogs.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 7

Then stop getting cats

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Tell them to stop showing up at my door.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

You should also get a cat so the cat you get has a friend.

4 years ago | Likes 41 Dislikes 0

This is actually pretty important for developing sociability. For kittens at least.

4 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

Really thinking hard about getting my cat a little buddy

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Do it. My cat was clearly bored and beginning to destroy things so I got her a kitten. They're best friends now.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That’s awesome. My cats are adjusting. New cat wants to hunt her/chase/play and og cat is terrified. Their good chilling together when calm.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Do it!! Got my girl in April. Can’t imagine my life without her

4 years ago | Likes 92 Dislikes 1

We just got our Second , a big boi Maine coon. Our first is soon 15 and been with us or entire relationship.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

She have been with us in everything, moved around the country twice and seen it all, mby to much :D

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I've been wanting one for a while but I have so many concerns that have made me hold back on adopting one

4 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

Whatever your concerns are, your future cat will push them off the table.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Cat's are fairly easy. Just keep their litter box clean and feed them. They will let you know if they want attention.

4 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 0

What were some concerns? Cats are definitely work! I recommend getting two cats. It doesn’t cost much more (supply wise) and it’s nice

4 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

That that can entertain each other when you’re away and or need to work at home. Lots of amazing videos on her to train cats too (helpful!)

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My concerns hit how many times to go to the vet, what signs to look at if they're ill, what to have to entertain them, what type of food etc

4 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Reddit for vet info. Cats are vegan, so full bean diet, no leather in the house

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 16

That's easy. In my country you need at least 2 visits per year for 2 of the shots. Rabies and another one that's a triplex. 1/2

4 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Great idea to build up a relationship with a local vet! And adopt from a shelter! Not expensive and they’ll help you! And of course Google
