One thing I couldn't dig out of the data, does the vaccine lessen the severity if you get infected before the 10-14 days post-vaccination?

Probably depends on how long after vaccination you get infected. If you get infected 2 days after vaccination, your body won't have 1/?

enough time to produce antibodies to fight the infection. If you get infected 8 or 9 days in, you may already have antibodies 2/?

to fight the virus (at least to some extent), so the severity of infection may be lessened. I'm no biologist though, just my opinion. 3/3
