I would imagine that a good cop would have looked at the two and would have correctly concluded that the person IN THE SKI MASK was the home intruder or maybe would have gotten a clue when it was a man who called 911 and of the two only one was a man. And it's sad it has come so far in the U.S.. In Belgium I feel like I can trust the cops... mostly because that cop would be tried for murder here and at least permanently lose his job. Even if it was raw panic, then you're unfit for service. Every bullet needs to be accounted for. A gun is a privilege and a last resort, not a "problem solver".

i followed him until he did a stop of someone else and approached him to get his identity. and he tried to tell things out of order. and i told him he was wrong i knew exaclty which cards where were when he arrived. then suddenly when he knew i wanst going to be confussed he gave me his card.

Real talk? As a tiny kindergarten tyke in the late 80's, growing up in and around military bases, we had a lot cops coming around doing their spiel about how important cops were and such. One big thing we got repeated to us, as tiny tykes, was how they *had* to shoot to kill, because if the person lived, they might sue the cop over it and then how could police do their jobs if they had to worry about lawsuits?
I was 6 years old, and these guys were comfortable saying that upfront.
