I finally got a fridge!
I have spent the last two months without a fridge or working stove/oven. This weekend, with the help of some really nice people, I got a used fridge. I only had 100 dollars but the owner of the store and others pitched in to make it happen. I still need a stove but I'm way too happy/grateful to care. As someone who has been homeless on and off, has lost and gained jobs several times this year and almost lost their cat this is great and a big uplift. I can finally have chocolate milk on a regular basis :). Small victory at a time.

Hugs OP i know the feels. if it weren't for my parents, me and my kids would be homeless. I cant find a job anywhere!

The cheapest fridge was 250 (used). The owner dropped it down to 200 and then some people chipped in 100, out of nowhere. Amazing weekend :)

I understand this feel. Just in case you begin having trouble with bills and thing, buy a cheap cooler box and fill it with ice as and when

needed. It's a servicable fridge for people on the poverty line. It's what we used to do in a squat house
