Noo corn is boiled just water and pinch of salt. This area is all old sea bottom, so flat as flat can be. All hills nearby are artificial. And there aren't many. WIthout forests, you could see the actual horizon, climb a tall tree, and you can see 70km away without any obstructions. Nice pics. The "don't ask" flowers are Himalayan balsam (jättipalsami). It's an invasive species, you'll want to start rooting them out next summer. Probably too late now for this year. They spread very very fast and take over.

Yes, that actually appeared 2021 when city made some drain renovation and brought some untreated filling and it brought also "Sahalinin tatar" or Sakhalin knotweed, wich i am familiar with from before. It is a pain to get rid of.

Good luck. They started spreading along a large ditch near my previous place. Took a couple of years to completely take over the side of the ditch, took me three years of every summer day removing every plant I found (kept an eye out for newly opened flowers) to pretty much clear then.
And then the city filled the ditch. Tee työtä jolla on tarkoitus.

Thanks. It sure is. About 10 miles/16km from major city, one of the furthest suburbs. Basically this is rural forest area with hiking paths etc. but technically suburbs.
