Wait, what? Money missing in a large company is a red flag, but your leader doing nazi salutes and firing everyone in the government isn't ? Some priorities need reprioritising

Guess they need doge!

Soon, it will be precisely $101 billion. No-one is sure why it was that amount /s

A lot has happened since October 2024

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Indeed, and very little of it good

Looks like Putin's checks have started bouncing.

1 year ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 2

It's even flag-shaped!

1 year ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 1

How long until Musk orders all remaining government organizations to buy Teslas?

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

So you mean the fraud... errm guy that the orange shit stain put in charge of government spending is... dare I say it? A PEDOPHILE! Oh shit wait. Yeah he's probably that too. But I meant nazi. No shit. Wrong one again. I mean, he is that too. A CRIMINAL! There we go. That shoe also fits.

Luckily for Tesla, their CEO now has direct control of the US Government's payment system and can just pay Tesla whatever he wants out of the US Treasury with no one to stop him.

"missing"............Suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I mean, the people reporting are accountants. No one is going to say exactly what happened with it till their sure...because they can be sued and possibly lose their license.

Concerning...

How long until our tax dollars bail his company out in the name of job creation or some shit?

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

About 5 minutes after Elon tells Trump what his next big spend is.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Musk can't even account for government spending... so it's not s surprise a company he controls is suddenly looking at accounting issues.

1 year ago | Likes 311 Dislikes 3

Should probably indiscriminately fire Tesla employees about it, I guess. Since that's working pretty well for DOGE.

1 year ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

He doesn't care about spending, he just wants to cull jobs

1 year ago | Likes 33 Dislikes 1

Not even that, he just wants to destroy departments that are an inconvenience to him.

1 year ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 0

And grift as much as he can get away with.

1 year ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

It's just baffling being 30, and for the past 20 years of being "vaguely aware" of Political News to "Astutely aware" of Political News, Republicans went from "We created the most jobs EVER when we get elected" to "We're firing hundreds of thousands, and you should be sucking our cocks as a thank you."

1 year ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

I honestly think most of the Republican establishment is just as baffled as you are, but this is what gets the new wave elected, so they just go along with it.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And you gave all access to Tesla bros to the government payment systems.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Let's get DOGE to look for fraud and waste.

If you think that's bad, just wait until someone does a real audit of all the government systems he's taken over. I wouldn't be surprised if this country was already bankrupt.

1 year ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

No it's the exact reverse. The departments he's gutting generate more revenue than they cost the taxpayer, because of the services they provide. The government's job is not to operate at a profit, it's to operate sustainably to provide benefit for taxpayers. When Democrats are in charge of the economy, it does that. The GOP doesn't know how because all they know is "tax break for rich guys".

Meanwhile - Tesla is in the middle o trying to scam the Canadian Government out of rebate money... ( https://driving.ca/auto-news/industry/tesla-canada-izev-ev-rebates-incentives-investigation )

or - for the Americans reading this in Gilead...

There have been numerous reports of tesla cooking the books for a while now. Recording warranty service as paid serives, reporting warranty cars returned to customers as "sales", selling brand new teslas to themselves and then reselling those cars as new cars.

1 year ago | Likes 45 Dislikes 0

> selling brand new teslas to themselves and then reselling those cars as new cars < that would explain the scandal developing in Canada where they sold thoughanad of cars on the weekend before the tax rebate was to be withdrawn.

1 year ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

They'd have to be. Cooking the books is the only way they could be worth a trillion despite selling less than ford.

1 year ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Eh, sales aren't everything - the market is an expectation of *future* value. When they were going places, it wasn't an unreasonable forecast, but then when the reality set in and their numbers were disappointing, weeeell, that's when the accounting gets a little "unusual". Anything to avoid telling people that the future value they were all banking on hasn't come through.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They are terminating government departments that are regulating them.

Major conflict of interest. But they don't care

1 year ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

So, did someone do a little fraud on the Stock Holders???

1 year ago | Likes 81 Dislikes 0

please. please please hire a hit squad. please. he came between rich people and their money. please kill him

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Imagine he got caught and faced no concequences whatsoever. Because that's what's gonna happen.

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

They fake sales to blow up stock value. It'll come down hard and the company will go bankrupt. Just look at the history of a company called 'Lernaut & Hauspie', it's the exact same thing. A valuable high tech company that pioneered speech recognition for computers, went to the stock market and then started doing exactly what musk is doing with Tesla.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Such a nazi thing to do... gives me schauden-fraud-e

1 year ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 1

Schadenfreude, just sayin :) And if anyone wants to know what that means, the late great Robin Williams can tell you: https://youtu.be/M4Q9ZxFpyAM

1 year ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 7

They were doing a pun.

1 year ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 1

I think the person that corrected their spelling understood that.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

How does “Schauden” fit in the pun - is that the name of one of the Tesla board members or something?

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Are any of us surprised? No. Is anything going to be done about it? That's also a no

1 year ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 2

Oh, the share price will certainly react if this proves true. The company is wildly overvalued as it is. This is like Smegman saying that crap mansion of his in FL is worth $798 millionn

1 year ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Which is also hilarious but if they were just not reporting the funds, it's not technically a "loss" right?

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

Yep - it's the share price / investors that will be the issue. I would not expect and formal investigation to extract any penalties worth talking about. But investor confidence isn't regulated.

1 year ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

The formal investigation will almost certainly find that they're underwater, they don't have the sales or assets to dig their way out of the hole they're in (not helped by their 'genius' CEO), and they'll declare bankruptcy. The investors are bailing because when that happens, they'll be the ones left holding the bag.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Oh, no... a scandal like this could impact the stock price. I hope it doesn't crash even further - it might reach terminal velocity soon where everyone just wants "out".

1 year ago | Likes 615 Dislikes 0

Ooo, and when it crashes low enough we all buy it. As stick holders we fire musk, and bring the company into sanity.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

How everyone isn't panic selling is a mystery to me.

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I'm sure it's unrelated to Tesla dealers inventories mysteriously catching fire only for them to cash in the insurance before the price drops further.

1 year ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

death spiral 101

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's likely an unannounced write down of their cyber truck inventory and excess manufacturing capacity.

1 year ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

This could only happen to the Best people

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That and Tesla Capex (capital expenses) have grown almost 700% in five years, a sales decline is catastrophic. Without money pouring into the company to support all that expense, expect troubles.

1 year ago | Likes 85 Dislikes 0

hE's a bUsiNesS gEniUs

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

TSLA price has never paid any attention to fundamentals. It's like the coyote running off the edge of the cliff, but hasn't looked down yet.

1 year ago | Likes 40 Dislikes 0

Exactly... and a major drop in sales (that don't actually generate income) along with Musk's massive campaign against himself, on top of Chinese sales increasing, along with them offering free "autonomous driving" software... should be enough to wake up investors and make them take a second look. Hopefully, when they do, it falls to realistic levels for a struggling, profitless company, then dies.

1 year ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

Uhhh, usually, the top CEO'S and CFOs will have a healthy purchase to sale rate with sales being higher because of stock benefits, bonuses, ect. This year it's been only sales. Even Elon's family who is a CFO is not buying.

It's only a matter of time before we see reports that all tesla stock certificates have spontaniously started making a sad trombone noise every time someone looks at them

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

1 year ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

That's actually kind of disappointing. I've only seen the right hand drop and thought it was from a sustained high. It's just dropped back to where it was last September?

1 year ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 0

this graph doesn't do it justice at all.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah, people not familiar with stocks like to blow things out of proportion. I do hope we see a significant drop in the near future.

1 year ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

I mean, they're essentially flat for the last 6mo.
That's not nothing.
But they also aren't in existential danger yet either.
Fingers crossed the drop keeps gaining momentum.
But that would likely only happen if Elon keeps using his megaphone to keep spreading nazi propaganda.
And what're the odds of that happening?

1 year ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

Pretty good...

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The price of the stock went from 15$ in 2019 to 450$ back in December. There was absolutely nothing innovative that they did in that 5 years. The stock always felt like a pump and dump that took it too far. Doesn’t make sense for an already established car company to increase value by 30x unless its market manipulation.
