Non motivational holiday home

We spent a day in a very nice holiday home in Zadar, Croatia and at first did not notice anything wrong with the sentences on the walls. Late at night a friend came from one of the rooms and said "I don't know if I am really that drunk or if I am losing my command of the English language - but I think these words are really not motivational at all" (we are both not English native speakers)

We were discussing the meaning of this one for some time. I don't know if other homes in Croatia have these things as well and if nobody in the factory recognized that they are not really good things to stick on walls (I know, some emos will disagree)... TLDR: get someone to translate your stickers before you stick them to your walls - or don't and your guests might have something to talk about :-)
