If 2 words sound the same but mean something else and the person uses the wrong one. Such as I know him v.s. I no him
I know the definition of the word. I meant what word is it replacing? "No" is replacing "know" in your example.

This teacher is doing an excellent job, IMO. Spelling and grammar are important. Language evolves, but we should still teach the basics.

Sure it all comes back to a grammar but I stick by my point, just cause u used the wrong word, incorrect spelling etc doesn't mean ur stupid
