Belated cakeday post

I was out all day yesterday so I missed the big day. Wished I could've done this under better circumstances, but since sitting around doing nothing doesn't help anyone... and yeah a cake day post might be small potatoes, but I need to be proactive in my life so I thought I could start small

I'm largely a 2d digital artist, but I always wanted a more hands on hobby, so when I say 3D Pen artists (or would they be sculptors?) on YouTube like 3D Sanago, Haebokka, etc, this seemsed right up my alley.

And this is my progress over the month I worked on and off on this first figure

At least he's not bald. Mostly.

I will be calling it quits here, on this guy at least. It's my first attempt, so I'm not discouraged, I think I did okay and I'm already working on another one. It's just, this things too small to comfortably work with, hard to sand and paint (at least with the paint markers I got), so that's a lesson learned.

I'll keep at it though, and maybe I'll have something worthwhile to offer for this year's Secret Santa for once. That isn't just a dinky little doodle at least, hah.
