My son is just a tiny bit bigger than he should be. When theyre that young if you just stick to your portions for 3 days they snap right back into shape. Just, no seconds at dinner, thats all we're doing. Anyways he is not happy about this (he's 4) and yesterday he went into the kitchen at 345 in the morning and ate 3 left over tacos from the prior night that we were saving for lunch. Then again this morning, also 345AM. He ate a pint of ben and jerrys and got ice cream everywhere. Ugh.
