Teams notification options are worse than what we had and its more buggy, but at least some big cheese feels like they made a difference by getting us switched to it so there's that

That is sometimes fixable. If you haven't already, search for "teams background image disappears randomly" and there are several tips, including checking the image for.at and clearing the app cache
