Resurrection plant

This is one of my Resurrection plants, Selaginella Lepidophylla also called the false rose of Jericho. It's a desert plant that can survive in a dry dormant state for years. I thought it looked a bit brain-like so I 3d printed a skull bowl as a little planter for it. I've had it for 6 months and I decided to water it for the first time.

It's alive!!! I gave it some water and it started to unfurl within 20 minutes or so. As more of the centre has been exposed I've given it a bit more water.

After this watering cycle I'll take some photos of it closing up, I might lock off a camera and timelapse it.

Thanks. I hadn't thought about how it would look when it got watered, but yeah it looks pretty creepy.
