Imgur doesn’t have very much fresh content anymore because of its moderation policies and the abusive behavior of vindictive and out-of-control mega posters and downvote gangs. At times as few as 30 votes will get something to the front page.To make it look like there’s new content they will show you older posts from someone that momentarily has something on the front page. Note how often you see posts that are 5+ yrs old and you have to back up 3-5x to get back to where you were. Annoying!
