I forwarded a phishing scam email I got to Paypal's abuse address for them to follow-up on. It was returned to me because they thought I was sending a phishing scam.
Hmmm, definitely trained on their previous support logs, like Customer: Hi I have a problem not covered in the help files. Support: Here is the part of the help file that is no use to solve this problem, closing ticket.
I worked at a call center on email support, we were encouraged to reply to emails as quickly as possible. So quickly that they wanted us to skim an email and select a canned response and send it on its way. They wanted our email reply time to be under 2 minutes once we opened the email. The only problem was customers were complaining that our canned responses didn't answer their question and we would get the same people emailing us all week. 5-10 minutes was enough to type up a real response.
