I whupped my cousin's hyper-competetive new husband by a large margin at his first thanksgiving with the family. My aunts and I had been playing for years and he came in thinking he was going to show us all, lol. They got divorced eventually and she later switched teams. I'm not claiming the Scrabble incident was causitive or even correlated, but we certainly saw his true colors that night.
