I remember a magician actually ripping into the judges for favoring the singing acts because all singers have to do is pick a song and memorize lyrics while the dancers and were given (undeserved) second chances, while musicians, acrobats, dancers, and magicians have to be more involved in creating new acts and that there's already a competition show for singers
yep, Simon *allowed* a singer an hour to memorize and practice a new song, which honestly is a huge no-no - any singer worth their would have at least two songs at ready in case one doesn't go over well.
I can’t think of any other act that you could practice in your car besides singing. I don’t want to completely obliterate singers who have talent, but it’s not exactly a special skill anymore
