The caption reads "of course their are mermaids." This is a print I purchased in Newport RI 2017 the weekend I proposed to my wife. It's illustrated by Charles Dana Gibson the man who defined the Gibson Girl. This cliffs in this picture look almost exactly like the very spot I proposed. I found it rummaging in a bin at an antique store only $2.
