Silicon bronze ashtray from my home foundry. Liver of sulphur patina. Wax finish.
Same bronze, same patina, but such a different colour!

Ashtray was cast in my homemade greensand. Belt buckle is a lost foam casting. Same alloy. I can't explain why they look so different.
