I'm trying to repurpose my house's M&S intercom system to support some smart devices. Namely, I want to use the existing wires to power Ring Doorbells off the existing intercom doorbell's power, and hide some Echo Dots (gen3) behind the room intercom panels while using their power lines.
The difficulty is that the Ring Doorbells require 16V AC, while the Echos require 15V DC. i can currently power the Ring doorbells, since the intercoms current TE5b transformer outputs 16V AC, but the power supply is no good for the Echo.
Can i connect two different transformers to the same 120V house line and create something like this?

Followup question- is it necesary to include fuses in this kind of setup? (Between the transformer and the Echo dots)

I would bench test it first to be sure. As long as the wires are heavy enough to not drop the voltage too much it should be fine.

Yes. But either your drawing is labeled wrong or your description is. Two XFMRs off the same line is fine.

yep, picture is wrong.. bottom should read 15V DC to the Echos. And the Ring can use 16-24V
