Client and I were covering AP Human Geography material. Parents kept making pretty offensive comments about populations and cultures we were covering. Got fed up, dropped. Feel bad for the kid though, he was too kind to live with that bigotry.

Covering SAT Math with a client. This punk kid would cut me off during EVERY explanation of a problem to say he knew the answer. Tried to get him to shut up, nothing worked. Even brought in his parents to sort things out (he was in high school, they really wanted me to stay). So I brought in some crazy "alegbra" problems from one of my upper level math courses at University to shut him up.

Surprisingly, the session went really well. First five-star rating from this particular client.

This particular client and I were covering some math material, client kept trying to argue "his way is better." We'd been working on the same problem type for about 30 mins, I was pretty fed up.

Mom tried to convince me he had ADHD, but had no medical records whatsoever. Read client history from supervisor, turns out he's a jerk. I got fed up when he started signing during session, I just left and declared it a cancellation (we get paid extra through the company for cancellations). Contacted my supervisor, no consequences.

$70/hr? Damn...I'd put up with some punk ass kids for that too.

I don't think OP gets the entire $70.

I was a tutor at a community college for a year. Luckily everyone that came in genuinely wanted help so I only had a few bad students.

To be honest, a lot of these kids just play along

You sound like you took a poor job path considering how impatient you seem with children...

Pays $16/hr for me. I'm good with kids, just not 16 year olds in "that phase"
