How do our leaders justify such a fetishization of military spending while blatantly lying about not having enough money or a budget for social programs like schooling/teachers, infrastructure, universal healthcare and Medication costs, as well as hundreds of other issues that could be worked on if this number is reduced. (As well as taxing those fucking billionaire leeches).
Where do we even begin to fix these problems when we can't even have a conversation about the things that matter without all the bullshit of the day news cycle being shoved into our faces?
This is the saddest future that the next generation will have to suffer through. I'm so sorry for the kids being born today that will grow up to see the find out period of this reality.

Entirely accurate. Contractors have a presence in as many states as possible so that lawmakers avoid cutting spending to stave job loss.
