You know what really grinds my gears?

i'm a bit frustrated at work right now since my direct manager seems to think she's the bomb at work but doesn't seem to know shit.
tonight really pissed me off when i had to research something that seemed a bit off with our system. i was panicked thinking there was a glitch when it turns out there was an update and a new way for something to be done.
none of that was told to me, but since i am resourceful i now know. she knows i can run circles around her at this place. and a remark came back that she should be fired and i should replace her. so now i wonder if she's trying to keep me out of the loop so she looks better? which i think would make her look worse.
i don't know.
