Nasty ass blade oil and/or shiny paint. Can't imagine what the Witcher universe special oils smell like. Would be nice to have a garlic oil base so it doesn't smell like tar. But also bring a Witcher and dealing with stupid horrible smelling oils might be weird. They might use blade oils that don't have a strong odor, or mask their odor because monsters smell well.
