Why does this weird, racist bullshit get posted? He has very clear pronunciation and if anything, he frequently over-pronounces things. The weird "Black guy has a Black guy accent, hahahaha!" condescending racist bullshit is doubly racist bullshit when it isnt even accurate.

I don't really see how it could be anything other than at least kinda racist. It's so obvious that he *doesn't* say "erf," and yet the joke has persisted for 30 years. And the origin of the joke is the stereotype that black people pronounce th like f.

That's like saying "'scuse me while I kiss this guy" is racist/homophobic about Jimi Hendrix. We all know what the lyric is. A colloquial mishearing of a thing cements the thing. I didn't write the rules. It could have been Shirley goddamned Temple that said it. If we all (mostly) remember hearing it a certain way, that's the way it is remembered, especially in jest or facetiously, hence the meme.
