This may not be as unpopular of an opinion as I think, but most people disagree with me on this.
American Dad was always in my mind better than Family guy who has not had a solid season since season 9, and Family Guy has completely run out of ideas. Then there is THE ORVILLE a show that many Imgurians including myself, have come to love. Lets see more of Seth's heart and soul go into the two best projects he is working on. That is all

When it first started, American Dad was like a more politically oriented and crappier knock off of (the already crappy) Family Guy.

I would argue that American Dad was always superior in its wit, character development, and stories, but again that is an opinion.

I agree with you. When it was announced FG seemed completely derivative, but it quickly proved to have much more clever writing.
