Missile alerts at 1am. 25 dead and 90 wounded in Kyiv. Hundred of thousands of books burned. Reports of Rheinmetalls Skynex failing to take out RU drones. Ukraine urgently asking for Patriot missiles and systems. Zelensky deepening the rift with Poland. Tourists unable to leave Crimea after the railway is shut down, the last link to RU. Me having a drink on the bank of the Rhine enjoying a lazy evening.

Can someone tell me how to make this dissonance work? This war is far from over and every damn minute someone dies. I wish it would stop.
