My father is called Martin Freeman, he called the theatre and told them Martin Freeman was coming to see the Hobbit. They were disappointed.

If only the movie was as good as the Mini-series on BBC...

Books are better.

So is the TV show, for all its low-budget-ness.

The audio books are read by Douglas Adams. He does the voices. It's magical.

13 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The books are AH-MAZING!!!!!!!

13 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Best books I ever read, hands down.

13 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I suggest the book's fans, like myself, to try finding the 80's British series. It covers some of the plot quite well! It's great!

The movie was fantastic, but might have missed regarding target audience. Still, wasn't a horrible disservice to the book like some movies.

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Totally agree. Although this scene along with the guide cutscenes are pretty well done.

He knew immediately by the intergalactic dirt stain on his hair follicle behind his left eat.

13 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Nope. Bilbo Baggins.

I thought I was the only person who liked this movie. Sure, the books are better but I really got a lol out of the movie.

13 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Nope, you're definitely not alone. This has been my favorite movie since it came out in 2005.

There was a huge to-do on my college campus when it came out. They were giving out free passes to the premier and stuff. (1)

I watched The Office over and over again, girlishly drooling. Now he's all big and famous, everyone else wants a piece of him. ._.

It took everything within me to not spend the entire three hours of the Hobbit screaming like a teenage girl.

13 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 0

I screamed like a girl, it was generally regarded as a bad idea by everyone.
